Three More Projects finished!

Just finished this hooded baby blanket.

How cute is my new model?  It took some searching, but I finally found a baby doll that is real baby size!  I started this years ago and it had some mistakes, so I ripped it out and started over from scratch.  I had bought the exact amount the pattern called for in yarn, but had to make some adjustments due to a shortage in the main color.  The pattern came from this older Leisure Arts book.

I have also finished reworking a diaper/wipe case.  Here is my finished product.

Here is the link diaper wipe case for the pattern I started from.  I didn't like the way the edges came out when alternating from DC to HDC.  So I did mine in all HDC.  I still might tweak the edging with something different next time.

Back in January, I decided to make something for myself.  I had some yarn that I just LOVE the color.  I really want a hooded scarf and found this pattern book.

and I made this.

But I have a larger head and its just not quite big enough for what I wanted.  Next try I'm adjusting the pattern for a larger hood.  I'll try to make sure I post those changes.

I seem to be on a baby blanket kick for now, so back to my yarn!

Lilac & White Shells Baby Blanket

I found this lovely pattern on Ravelry and decided to use up some of my baby yarn on it.

The pattern is here beautiful-shells-blanket

Currant Scarf

The second scarf I made for a coworker was out of some very pretty Currant colored yarn.

I used the mindless-scarf pattern on the ravelry site.

Rose Slant Stitch Scarf

A coworker wanted a couple of scarves made up. She had the yarn and didn't care how I crocheted them, so I'm trying new stitches.

This is a slant stitch, I found the pattern here suzies yarnie

It worked up fairly quick and I added the fringe.

One down and one to go.   Ooops, she wants another since there was enough left over in this color.  :)

Crocheted Tote Bag with a Liner

I was a little late getting it finished but I finally got it done and delivered.  I made this cute little crocheted bag (forgive my bad picture).

You can find the pattern here Elk studio handcrafted crochet designs.  I even followed the link and added a liner.

My First Craft Show

Well, my first craft show is finished.  I'm so glad it was just the one day.  Trying to make sure I was ready for it wore me out.  But I think it went rather well for my first one.

Things to note:

#1 - Credit card sales - I used the Paypal Here reader and it worked pretty good for the most part.  Transactions went thru amazingly fast, but out of the 3 transactions, only 1 swiped without trouble.  Could have been the cards tho.  Glad I had it because it accounted for about 40% of our sales.

#2 - I need to have more small items, I didn't sell anything over $18.00.  Hats sold well and my kitchen towel holders.

#3 - Need to create more displays, the christmas ornaments would have been more eye catching if hanging from some sort of dowel rod tree.

#4 - Want to take a blanket display rack and have more baby blankets made up.  They had a lot of interest if not priced too high.
